Some midi loft bunk beds with storage come with a desk built-in (as illustrated above) however, other models, such as our Luna midi-bunk, have the ladder on the right side so that the table can be put on the left. It is important to note that the majority of midi loft beds with desk require the standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. This is not included in the cost of the bed, therefore we suggest looking at our amazing mattress deals to find one that suits your budget!

Mattress
Most midi beds can accommodate standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail that gives you additional security. Some models feature an trundle drawer with a pull-out that can be used to host sleepovers, or to add more storage space under the bed. They can be open or fitted with doors (please check the product's specifications for more details).
A lot of midi cabins have a desk which can be moved between the two upper levels or chests of drawers. This allows the children to have their own space to store all of their belongings. This also means that they don't have to make use of floor space by putting up bulky shelving or wardrobes.
A few of the models have taken it a step further with cabinets that are flush mounted or a part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storing toys and books.
